Speaking about the prep for the wedding, Amandeep said, "Aunty (Vicky's mother) and I went shopping at all these lanes that you can think of in Bandra and Andheri. We bought fabrics and visited the tailor together. We had sessions with uncle where we had the tailor and designer come home. That would turn into a discussion over decor or food."
Amandeep recalls, "My house was full of clothes, I would go to Vicky's house and say 'Yours doesn't look like a wedding house as much as mine does.' Towards the end when we had to pack everything, that was the real challenge because we were packing wedding trousseaus in large suitcases, unlike a beach wedding in Goa."
The stylist goes on to recall an incident where she convinced Vicky to wear a purple suit for the promotions of 'Govinda Naam Mera.' She said, "I got this suit made and he thought it's too out there but that's what Govinda is-all about fun and colour. When he was posing I said, let's do the dance emoji pose baecuse you look exactly like it.!"
Opening up about another favourite look on Vicky she said, "We got a suit customised for the Filmfare awards. He's tall so you have to get suits customised for him, I sit with designers and get it done, unlike pieces that are readily availiable to style him in. His refrencing is Brad Pitt and George Clooney, they always wear a simple black tuxedo. I understand that but he needed to have a glam element."
Amandeep also spoke about other actors who she had styled, including Radhika Madan, Abhay Deol, Sunny Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Yami Gautam and many more. Watch the video on mid-day's Youtube page to find out all their style secrets.
