Varun Dhawan-Natasha wedding preparations? Brother Rohit clicked shopping; David Dhawan heads to salon
Media speculations are high about the wedding of Varun Dhawan with his long-time girlfriend Natasha Dalal very soon. It seems preparations of the marriage is on full swing. If the sources are to be believed, Natasha Dalal, Varun Dhawan and their families will host a close-knit wedding ceremony on January 24 in Alibaug. It is also said that the duo, and their near and dear ones, will have a three-day-long celebration by the beach from 22 to 24 of January.
Apparently, invites have already been sent out to family and friends asking them to block their dates from January 22 to 25, and the preparations are in full swing.
A guest invited to the nuptials reveals that the family has drawn out a guest list of 50, as per safety restrictions. Needless to say, Varun's mentor Karan Johar, and idol Salman Khan will be present at the do. It is heard that the guests will board private yachts from Gateway of India to head to Mandwa jetty. From there, private cars will escort them to the beach resort booked out for the ceremony.
"The wedding will see only the families and the couple's school friends in attendance. Last week, the families sent e-invites for the reception. Shah Rukh Khan may not be able to make it as he is shooting for Pathan in a bio-bubble. Other guests include Varun's directors Remo D'Souza and Shashank Khaitan, Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra, and Vashu Bhagnani. Since David is diabetic and suffered a heart attack in 2013, sons Varun and Rohit don't want to risk his health by having a grand reception," says the source.
While Varun's wedding outfit will be designed by couturier friend Kunal Rawal, Dalal will wear her own creation.
Varun's father David Dhawan was also clicked at a salon in Juhu. Looks like the filmmaker was preparing himself for son Varun's impending nuptials. He stepped out with his hair coloured.
Speaking about their relationship, Dhawan and Dalal did their schooling together and have been in a long-term relationship. While on Koffee With Karan show, when Varun was asked about Natasha, he said, "I'm with her because she has her own individuality, she has her own voice which is super strong with things she wants to do and things she wants to achieve in life. And, as her partner, that is something I want to support, you know. And, she has been so supportive where my career is concerned, always, from day one actually."
