Brooke Shields regrets losing virginity late

Brooke Shields might have taken up saucy roles at a very young age but it wasn't until she turned 22 that the actress lost her virginity.

In the latest issue of Health magazine, the Lipstick Jungle star says that had she "learned" to love herself the way she looked "earlier", she would have "had sex a lot earlier!"

If she had sex earlier, "I think I wouldn't have had issues with weight -- I carried this protective 20 pounds [in college]," the 43-year-old says. "It was all connected. And to me, that's a health regret."
