The There's Something About Mary actress lost her father last year when he died suddenly from pneumonia, but remembers the bond between her mother and father, telling, "It is the most beautiful and inspiring thing that I have ever witnessed - the eternal love that my mom and dad shared."
The blonde beauty continued, "It was what has given me the strength and courage to live this extraordinary life and it is what powers the light that burns inside of me." The 36-year-old's latest film, My Sister's Keeper will hit theatres in June. Meanwhile, Diaz is in talks to star in comic book movie Green Hornet. She will play the lead, opposite Canadian actor Seth Rogen.
