Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves took a quick break from their kids and hit the orange carpet

Matthew presented the award for Male Vocalist of the Year to Brad Paisley, who beat out Kenny Chesney, Darius Rucker, George Strait and Keith Urban. During his speech, Matthew shared, "After the show last year my lady and I went back to the hotel and conceived the little lady who is now our daughter [Vida McConaughey]. I promise you me and Camila are going to try not to get so lucky this year. Two is enough. We're flush for awhile."

Taylor Swift was pretty in purple. The 20-year-old country cutie wore a wisteria Marchesa chiffon embroidered draped gown. She finished off her look with Christian Louboutin shoes and Neil Lane jewels.Taylor performed her hit song "Change" with UCSD's a cappella group, The Tritones. Halfway through the song, she ripped off her Carmen Marc Valvo dress and revealed a Charley 5.0 bustier, Hudson jean leggings and Everybody boots.

Carrie Underwood looked stunning on the orange carpet. The 27-year-old American Idol vet, Miranda Lambert, Charlie Daniels, Brad Paisley and John Fogerty opened up the ceremony with a scorching rendition of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Traveling Band." She later sang her touching song "Temporary Home." Carrie was nominated for Album of the Year for Play On, Song of the Year for "Cowboy Casanova", Vocal Event of the Year for "I Told You So," Top Female Vocalist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban matched their black-and-white outfits. This year, Keith was up for Entertainer of the Year against Kenny Chesney, Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, George Strait, Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and the Zac Brown Band. He was also up for Top Male Vocalist of the Year.
