After the success of Slumdog Millionaire, Danny Boyle is ready with his next film, 127 Hours.
The film, starring James Franco, is the true story of mountain climber Aron Ralston's remarkable adventure to save himself after a boulder falls on his arm and traps him in an isolated canyon in Utah. Over the next five days, Aron examines his life and recalls friends, lovers (Clemence Poesy), family, and the two hikers (Amber Tamblyn and Kate Mara) he met before his accident; wondering if they will be the last two people he ever had the chance to meet.
Aron will have to survive the elements and discover whether he has the courage to extricate himself by any means necessary, including scaling a 65-feet-wall and hiking over eight miles to be rescued.u00a0
Danny Boyle adds, "This movie is going to be obsessive, and it will be for obsessives. You will want him to cut off his arm by the end."u00a0
