David Lynch ready to hang up his boots

"Things have changed a lot. So many films were not doing well at the box office even though they might have been great films. The things that were doing well at the box office weren’t the things that I would want to do," Lynch said.

The director will, however, come back with his popular TV show, Twin Peaks, later this month, for a third season. The second one ended 16 years ago.
