Los Angeles: "Game of Thrones" author G R R Martin says former US President Barack Obama would be a "dream cameo" on hit fantasy show.
Obama is a self-confessed fan of the show and producers David Benioff and D B Weiss had even sent him advance episodes of season six.
The "Song of Ice and Fire" series writer was asked by a commenter on his blog about his "dream guest/cameo".
"Well, Barack Obama would be pretty exciting," Martin said.
"And actually, he IS a fan of the show," he added.
Benioff and Weiss revealed last year that they gave the president early access to season six of the show.
"When the commander-in-chief says, 'I want to see advanced episodes' what are ya gonna do?" Benioff said.
The season seven of the show will air in India on Star World and Star World Premier HD.
