Naomi Campbell is the latest celebrity to have had her photo removed by Instagram.
The 45-year-old model had posted a topless picture, captioning it with the hashtag #FreeTheNipple. It was a teaser to her upcoming two-volume Taschen book.
According to an entertainment magazine, the NSFW image stayed on Instagram for 20 hours before being removed.
Under Instagram’s terms of use, users are not allowed to post nude, partially nude, pornographic or sexually suggestive pictures or content via the service.
Earlier, Instagram had removed the nude pictures of Rihanna, Cara Delevingne and Miley Cyrus, who supported Campbell’s #freethenipple campaign, which hopes “to decriminalise female nudity” and “to challenge censorship and public nudity laws”.
