Nikki Reed has claimed that music is the secret behind her happy marriage to Paul McDonald.
The 24-year-old actress, who celebrated her first wedding anniversary with the former ‘American Idol’ contestant in October, admitted to People.com that having a normal relationship in Hollywood is difficult, but the couple tries not to lose track of what is important to them, Contactmusic reported.

She said that in a relationship, it’s really important to just be with each other and make the other person a priority.
The ‘Twilight Saga’ star added that she and her 28-year-old husband have no plans to start a family anytime soon as right now they are just focusing on their careers.
Reed also revealed they are in the process of writing a full-length album together, which they are hoping to release in the next couple of months.
