Yesterday, Anupam Kher announced that he has signed his 500th film — a Hollywood flick titled 'The Big Sick'.
The 61-year old will share screen space with Holly Hunter, Zoe Kazan, Ray Romano, Kumail Nanjiani and Adeel Akhtar in the project. The actor marked the milestone with a video by veteran Hollywood actor Robert De Niro, who congratulated him on his achievement.
He said, "Anupam, I just want to say congratulations for finishing your 500th film. That's amazing! In America I have done 90 or 95 movies, but doing 500 is incredible." Kher and De Niro worked together in the 2012 American film 'Silver Linings Playbook'.
