Los Angeles: Actress Sarah Paulson felt the urge to hum singer Rihanna's songs on the set of the film "Ocean's Eight".

The 42-year-old actress appears with Rihanna in the new Gary Ross-directed movie. Paulson spent much of the time on set trying to stop herself from singing some of Rihanna's hits, reports etonline.com.

"A lot of us spent a lot of time not singing Rihanna songs. We all sort of covertly were like, 'Are you doing it, too?'," Paulson said.

Paulson said her co-stars Sandra Bullock, Mindy Kaling and Anne Hathaway, would feel an especially strong urge to hum Rihanna's tunes whenever she would turn around and look at them.

"Everyone would be like, 'Stop'. It was a lot of collective winking," she said.

"You don't want to be a supreme doofus-magoofus in front of Rihanna. You wanna keep a little bit of a cool quotient, which I, as you can tell, I'm not super successful at," Paulson added.
