In a rare sale, buyers will get a chance to purchase unpublished images of Marilyn Monroe, along with the negatives and potentially valuable copyrights.

The sale, put on by Profiles in History, has nearly 4,000 unpublished photos of the stunning starlet by famed photographer Milton Greene.

These intimate photographs are expected to fetch thousands of dollars, with the individual lots of Monroe photos likely to fetch between 1,000 dollars to 15,000 dollars, the New York Daily News reported.

Monroe met Greene in 1953 and was instantly taken by his talent after seeing samples of his photos for Look magazine.

The stunning images of the blond bombshell along with some of Hollywood's most celebrated stars, including Paul Newman, Ava Gardner, Barbara Streisand, Jane Fonda and Cary Grant are among 70,000 other unpublished photos of Greene''''s that are also going up for sale.
