Lindsay Lohan's upcoming stint in jail and then rehab won't just keep her out of Hollywood clubs
Lindsay Lohan's upcoming stint in jail and then rehab won't just keep her out of Hollywood clubs. Ordered to surrender to authorities on July 20, the 24-year-old, previously called "uninsurable" thanks to her erratic behavior, will also be taking an inconvenient break from her film and fashion projects. Sentenced on Tuesday to 90 days in jail and 90 days in rehab for violating her probation related to a 2007 DUI arrest, the hard-partying Lohan had multiple professional commitments on her agenda.
Lohan will be unable to promote her action flick Machete, set for a theatrical release in September; Fox studios had no comment to the Associated Press following her sentencing. Also hampered: production on Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, in which the former child star was slated to play the title role of a real-life porn actress. The biopic's writer-director told the Associated Press that he is "100 per cent behind Lindsay" despite her sentencing. "We are proud to have this remarkable artiste in our film."
