The Malayalam superstar Mohanlal has taken the web ablaze. The south icon has been sent a legal notice by The Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Board for a recent advertisement he has shot. As per the board, the advertisement, where he is seen spinning a charkha, is completely misleading.
Why, you ask? The board stated that the charkha is a symbol of the freedom struggle, and it cannot be misused to sell textiles. They have also requested the superstar to pull the advertisement.
On the work front, Mohanlal is prepping up for Suriya 37, which also stars Suriya and Arya. Mohanlal is also hosting Bigg Boss Malayalam.
