On a heroine hunt

After playing lover boy in Ramya Chaitra Kala, the humble and affable Ram will now crush steel and stone as action hero in Namo Venkatesha. The film is expected to go on the floors on June 5, but the search is on for the leading lady.

Producer-director Ramanna was keen on Ragini, who acted in Ee Shatamanada Veera Madakari, but the actress is believed to have begged off, citing "non-availability of dates." So, Ramanna's hunt continues.

Raju Upendrakumar will score music while Sadhu Kokila will provide the background score.
