Amid the ongoing Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Telugu superstar Allu Arjun made a surprise visit to Nandyal with his wife Sneha Reddy to support YSRCP candidate and close friend Silpa Ravi Chandra Kishore Reddy. Post his visit, reports claimed that a complaint was filed against him, alleging a breach of the Model Code of Conduct.

Now, after several reports of the FIR and Allu Arjun supporting a party, breaking the code of conduct started circulating on social media, the Pushpa actor has put out a clarification.

Allu Arjun Speaks On His Visit to Nandyal

Allu Arjun, in his clarification, shared, “Firstly, I want to clarify that I'm not affiliated with any political party. I remain neutral and support my people, regardless of their political affiliations. This includes my uncle Pawan Kalyan, whom I'll always stand by, along with my friend Ravi and my father-in-law, Mr. Reddy.” He further said, “I made a promise to my friend, Mr. Ravi, to support him, but I couldn't fulfill it last time. To keep my word, this time I went to Nandyal to support him.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Allu Arjun is gearing up for the release of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule'. Last week, the makers unveiled the first single 'Pushpa Pushpa'.

Music director Devi Shri Prasad, who won a National Award for the music of 'Pushpa 1: The Rise', has again created this track. Devi Shri Prasad has roped in popular singers like Nakash Aziz, Deepak Blue, Mika Singh, Vijay Prakash, Ranjith Govind & Timir Biswas to sing the respective versions of the song.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is directed by Sukumar and also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil. The teaser shows Allu Arjun as Pushpa Raj in a new avatar. Dressed in a saree, he beats goons in his Pushpa style. The video features the Jaathara sequence from the film. Jaathara, also known as Sammakka Saralamma Jaathara, is a festival to honour the Hindu Tribal goddesses, celebrated in the state of Telangana, India. Each year more than 10 million devotees visit this 4-day festival.

Produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Muttamsetty Media, the film will be released on August 15, 2024. Allu Arjun, the main lead of the film, received a National Film Award for his performance in the first part. The first part of Pushpa showcased power tussles set against the backdrop of red sandalwood smuggling.
