In an unfortunate turn of events, popular Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda has been hospitalised after a serious accident, leaving his fans, fellow musicians, and well-wishers deeply concerned. He sustained severe head and spine injuries and was initially taken to the Civil Hospital, where he suffered a cardiac arrest. While the Punjab CM confirmed that he is recuperating, Diljit Dosanjh halted his Hong Kong concert to urge the audience to pray for his recovery.

At his recent Hong Kong concert, singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh addressed the audience about Rajvir’s condition and urged everyone to keep him in their prayers. “We have a very dear brother. He is a very great singer, Rajvir Jawanda. He met with a bike accident.” In a video shared by Daily Post TV, Diljit is further seen appealing to fans for their prayers, saying, “Please pray for him. Prayers have a lot of impact. He should get well soon. He should come back to us. He should be on our show. He is a very beautiful singer, Rajveer Veera.”

Speaking about Rajvir's personality and career, Diljit added, “His shows are very beautiful. I think he has never been caught in any controversy. He loves us a lot. Please pray for him. When you pray for someone with a true heart, he will definitely fulfil your prayers.”
Earlier, Diljit had also shared his concern on social media, writing, “Praying for @rajvirjawandaofficial Veera. Just heard about the accident news.” Many noted Punjabi singers, including Kanwar Grewal, Gurdas Maan, and Babbu Maan, appealed to people to pray for Jawanda’s speedy recovery. Grewal, who was at the hospital, said doctors are providing the best treatment to Jawanda and appealed to people not to spread rumours surrounding his health.
About Rajvir’s accident
The 35-year-old Jawanda, who rose to fame with the song Kali Jawande Di, was seriously injured in an accident in Himachal Pradesh's Solan district while travelling to Shimla on a motorcycle on Saturday, police said. The accident took place in the Baddi area when he lost control of the motorcycle.
Hailing from village Pona in Ludhiana's Jagraon, Jawanda is also known for his songs Tu Dis Penda, Khush Reha Kar, Sardari, Surname, Afreen, Landlord, Down to Earth, and Kangani. Jawanda also acted in the Gippy Grewal starrer Subedar Joginder Singh in 2018.
