Actress Priyanka Chopra is slated to make her comeback in Indian cinema with SS Rajamouli's Varanasi. The actor recently attended a huge title and teaser reveal ceremony in Hyderabad, where she wowed everyone with her beauty. Priyanka has now posted a video of the incident via her eyes.

On Monday, Priyanka took to Instagram to share a video of some behind-the-scenes glimpses from the huge Varanasi ceremony. The video began with Priyanka practicing her Telugu lines for the event and preparing her speech to address the audience. She gave a glimpse inside her preparations by wearing a face mask and taking notes for her stage talk. In the video, Priyanka was seen becoming apprehensive as she prepared for the event with her staff. She also stated that “it’s more difficult to speak Telugu in front of a live audience than in a movie.”
She was also spotted rehearsing her entrance and lines with SS Rajamouli, before explaining her plan to Mahesh Babu. Mahesh and Priyanka were spotted laughing heartily just before she entered the stage. The performer appeared to be attempting to lighten the mood before addressing the enormous audience. Her response was: "I am so happy to be back, making this movie in my beloved India." Following her remarks, she greeted Namrata Shirodkar and Sitara with loving hugs before taking a seat to see the film's trailer. She captioned the video, "Varanasi launches from my eyes."
During the event, Priyanka heaped accolades on Prithviraj Sukumaran, revealing that while he appears terrible in the film as the villain, he is the polar opposite in real life. She thanked Mahesh Babu and his family for making Hyderabad feel like home for her, and she praised SS Rajamouli as the visionary who introduced Indian cinema to the globe. Priyanka looked stunning in a white lehenga choli, reminiscent of Princess Jasmine.
About the film Varanasi
The film stars Mahesh in the lead as Rudhra, Priyanka as Mandakini, and Prithviraj as the antagonist Kumbha. The teaser saw Mahesh in a fiery avatar riding a bull with a trishul in his hand through the streets of Varanasi. While the trailer revealed little about the film, fans think that it is about time travel. Filmmaker SS Rajamouli said that Mahesh would also play Lord Rama in one of the scenes, which required 60 days to shoot.
While the grand Globe Trotter event revealed the trailer, title, and Mahesh Babu's first look from the film, Rajamouli had previously shared Priyanka's look as Mandakini on Instagram a few days before the event. The ad featured Priyanka in a yellow saree, fighting with a gun in her hand. The poster impressed viewers.
