For the event, the duo looked stylish in their vibrant avatar. While Nushrat donned a yellow-off shoulder dress, Ayushmann opted for a white t-shirt, black pants and black jacket with "caution" printed on it. Host Kapil Sharma joined the fashion party, donning a white t-shirt, denim and brown leather jacket.
The duo had a laugh riot on the show with the characters of the show putting up a series of hilarious acts. Ayushmann who has been invited on the show for more than two times said that he considers this show as his lucky charm.
While sharing some fun incidences on the show, Ayushman mentioned, "Last time when I came on The Kapil Sharma Show for the promotion of Article 15, I won National Award for the film Andhadhun. I feel the platform is really lucky for me."
Speaking about Dream Girl, the movie is set against the backdrop of Mathura. Dream Girl is a comedy of errors with an ensemble cast of Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Bannerjee, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Raj Bhansali among others.
In the movie, Ayushmann essays the role of a young man imitating female voices which leads to hilarious results. In an exclusive interview with mid-day, he spoke at length about his character. He said, "The biggest challenge was to crack the right note. As a guy, I have a natural [deep] baritone and that makes it difficult to sound convincing as a woman. To transition between voices was challenging, but it wasn't one bit exhausting. I am naturally drawn to different characters, so this was an adventure."
"Since I come from a radio background, it's easier for me to modulate my voice. I have spent years behind the mic, mimicking different people. Raaj had given me the references of a few men, who prank people by talking like a woman. I studied those videos extensively," he concluded.
Directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa, and produced by Shobha Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, Dream Girl is all set to release on September 13, 2019. We wish the Dream Girl team best of luck
