Definitely it’s an honour to receive this from mid-day especially for the Thane centric category.


From National to International branding, mid-day Icons have gone bigger this year. What are your thoughts on this and how will it help in your branding?. 
We would like to congratulate mid-day on going international.


With the Covid challenge, do you think the realty industry will see a transformation to match customer changing sentiments?
COVID-19 period has been spent mostly in sustaining the existing business.  We have been able to re-strategize some of our expansion plans to other cities and also been able to work on new product offerings which are going to suit the work-from-home culture for our residential projects.  We have been working extensively with our design team to create a new framework for the interior layouts of our IT parks, to better accommodate social distancing measures when work from office resumes.


What do you think are the redeeming features of your projects that sets it apart from the rest?
We have been a progressive real estate company when it comes to R&D.  Though real estate as an industry takes many years to implement new technology.  We were among the few developers to implement various new technologies across our projects. We were one of the first ones to introduce the Aluform shuttering technology in our high rise buildings which gave us a very fast speed of construction and a very high quality of finishing.  This year we have completed our first precast project (1million sq ft).

Technology has a critical role to play currently and in future.  We are implementing society management software in all our projects so that there is a seamless transition between the developer and the society and there is full transparency between the management committee and the residence.  In our commercial spaces and SEZs we have successfully been able to implement BIM technology to minimize the MEP and structural design clashes before the work commences.

We extend post possession assistance, which means, we help our customers in settling down in their new home and getting to know their neighbourhood. We also provide Rental and Resale assistance.     We have various society level cultural and sport events which enhances the joy of living in a gated and vibrant community.

Have you achieved your vision for your company or is there more to achieve—your future goals?
There is more to achieve in terms of growth and goals.  It’s never enough when it comes to customer satisfaction and delight.  We feel that a customer is putting his life’s worth of savings into the house  and for that we need to be very transparent with him from the moment he enquires for his future home and right upto the delivery of the same.

Our USPs are Quality, Transparency and Timely delivery.  Our brand strives for the same.  We feel though the times have changed, these core values will remain valid  forever.  These are critically important for today as well as the future.  

Next 10 years we will see our business consolidate in Tier-3 cities and expand rapidly in Pune / Mumbai / Thane and Bangalore. We aim to expand our Athashri brand in 2 more states and come up with a development management model to work with developers who do not have a big brand value and are unable to compete in the current market.
