Muzaffarnagar: A 45-year-old farmer was allegedly shot dead by his son in his house in Nainagla village in Shamli district, police said today.
The victim, Deshpal, was shot dead by his son Amit Kumar (21) yesterday, for opposing Kumar's alleged involvement in various criminal activities like loot and murder, police said.
A case has been registered under Jhinjhana police station against Kumar who is absconding, police said, adding, a search is underway to nab the accused.
