A woman was immolated allegedly by her husband over a dispute related to his second marriage in Jaithara area, police sources said today.
Shivpal, along with his family members, set his wife Bhoori on fire in Bhalaul village last night, they said, adding that they later escaped from the spot.
Shivpal had married another woman while working in Lucknow and when he returned to the village with his second wife, he had a dispute with Bhoori.u00a0
