A married woman in her 20s was found strangled in a hotel room here Tuesday afternoon, police said.
Saziya, resident of east Delhi's Maujpur, was found dead in hotel Karan Palace in central Delhi's Paharganj around 1.30 p.m.
"Saziya's body was recovered by a staff of the hotel. She had checked in with her husband Rashid Monday afternoon," said a police officer.
The room was locked from outside and Rashid was absconding.
"A hunt is on for the victim's husband, who is still missing. Prima facie it seems to be a case of strangulation. The victim's body has been sent for post-mortem," said the officer. u00a0
