A minor Dalit girl, who was allegedly kidnapped two days ago, was found today near a temple in Rajiv Colony area of the district with her family alleging that she was raped.

Ghaziabad: A minor Dalit girl, who was allegedly kidnapped two days ago, was found today near a temple in Rajiv Colony area of the district with her family alleging that she was raped.

Police have registered a case under Section 363 of Indian Penal Code (kidnapping) and said that a case of rape will be
registered only after ascertaining the facts, said Upendra Yadav, Station In-Charge of Sahibabad police station.


The family members of the girl alleged that she was kidnapped by their neighbour, Subhan, two days ago and he
dumped her near a temple here today. They also claimed that the girl was raped by the youth and police was trying to hush up the matter.The girl has been sent for medical examination.
