A monk was arrested on alleged charges of abduction and rape of a minor girl from Dhantala in Nadia district, police said today.
Rabindranath Mondal(48), a resident of Taherpur Rail gate area, abducted a 14-year-old girl from his neighbourhood on Tuesday.u00a0

Police rescued the girl and arrested the man Thursday.
Mondal's wife was also arrested for colluding with her husband in the entire incident, they said.
