Mumbai is preparing to welcome its favourite deity on Wednesday, August 27, as festive vibes grip the city. At the heart of the preparations is Kalagand Arts in the Parel Railway Workshop, where artisans are crafting idols of all sizes. In the days leading up to the festival, the workshop buzzes with activity, colour, and faith. As the final touches are added and the idols are prepared for dispatch, hundreds of Mumbaikars flock to the workshop to witness the much-awaited Aagman Sohala, the ceremonial arrival of these Ganpatis into their pandals
