The air quality in Mumbai remained to very poor quality as the overall Air Quality Index (AQI) of the city reached 283 on Wednesday, according to data from the System of Air Quality and Weather Forecasting And Research (SAFAR)
The AQI between zero and 50 is considered good, 51 and 100 is satisfactory, 101 and 200 moderate, 201 and 300 poor, 301 and 400 very poor, and 401 and 500 severe
The SAFAR dashboard on Wednesday showed Worli's AQI as 176 and BKC's AQI as 273. Borivali's AQI continued to stay in the 'moderate' category at 111.
Mazagaon's AQI and Andheri's AQI slipped to the 'very poor' category at 328 and 329.
