Over the past week, Mumbai witnessed light showers across the city due to the well-marked low-pressure area over the East-central Arabian Sea.
According to the IMD forecast, dry weather is expected in Mumbai from November 23 onwards, for the rest of the week.
Despite the unseasonal rains last week, the weather in Mumbai is set to remain warm and humid. However, the rains did bring a little relief amid the deteriorating air quality.
As per the weather agency Skymet Weather, rains are observed over Mumbai during non-monsoon months only when a weather system is developing in the Arabian Sea and coming closer to the coast of Maharashtra.
