Little did Murad Osmann know that a simple picture of his then-girlfriend (now wife), Nataly leading him by the hand would become so viral and trendy that one day it would become a photo series and a global travel brand. The sweet yet simple picture gave birth to the widely accepted and followed series, #FollowMeTo. The couple has not looked back since then.

So, how did the couple and their 'Follow Me' series shot to fame? Nataly and Murad Osmann have revealed the secret on their website. It says: The story started on our first trip together to Barcelona. We were very young, very much in love, and absolutely carefree. We were strolling along sunny narrow streets, chatting, laughing, and, of course, taking lots of photos. All of a sudden Natasha looked away and pulled Murad forward, and that was the moment when he caught 'that shot'! Isn't that like a picture-perfect story!

Do you know the story behind the 'Follow Me' series? In 2011, when Murad and Nataly Osmann was on a trip to Barcelona the couple were in awe of the city. Murad would go on clicking endless photos which annoyed Nataly and in reaction, she pulled him away, but Murad managed to take a photo anyway. This accident, however, led to the birth of the 'Follow Me' series, and the rest, as they say, is history!

While it's been a while since the photo has gone viral, today Murad has amassed over 4 million followers while Nataly has nearly 1 million followers on Instagram and still counting. Their 'Follow Me To' page on Instagram has managed to amass about 490 thousand followers on Insta to date.

Murad Osmann is a Russian photographer who is based in Moscow and is also the co-author of #FollowMeTo photo series. Murad and Nataly were dating for a few years before the couple tied the knot on June 6, 2015. The couple had two weddings - one in Moscow and the other one at Dagestan, where Murad was born
Murad Osmann proposed Nataly in 2014 and guess what! The proposal was in the same way the couple has been capturing the world together. Interestingly, Murad asked Natal to reach her behind and grab his hand like they normally pose for the Follow Me To series. Surprisingly, Nataly found a ring in place of his hand.
