The finale of the 2019 Miss World beauty contest came to an end with Miss Jamaica Toni-Ann Singh claiming the coveted title at a glitzy ceremony in Excel Arena, London, where India's Suman Rao bagged the second runner up spot.

Toni-Ann Singh from Jamaica is the 69th Miss World. Singh is a 23-year-old Psychology and Women's Studies graduate from the Florida state university.
Miss World Toni-Ann Singh gave an interview after winning the coveted title. She is the fourth Jamaican contestant to be crowned Miss World.
And there comes the crowning moment... Toni-Ann Singh, who is born to an Indo-Caribbean father, Bradshaw Singh, and African-Caribbean mother Jahrine Bailey, was bestowed the crown by Vanessa Ponce, the last year's Miss World winner from Mexico at the event televised live globally on Saturday (December 14).
After winning the title, Singh took to social media to thank everyone."To that little girl in St. Thomas, Jamaica and all the girls around the world -- please believe in yourself. Please know that you are worthy and capable of achieving your dreams. This crown is not mine but yours. You have a PURPOSE, [sic]" she tweeted.
The Top 5 contestants were from India, Jamaica, Brazil, France and Nigeria. While France's Ophely Mezino bagged the runner's up position, India's Suman Rao was the second runner-up.
The top 12 Miss World 2019 contestants were from Kenya, Nigeria, Brazil, Mexico, India, Nepal, Philippines, Vietnam, Jamaica, France, Russia.
The one and only Iconic Lulu belted out Run Run Rudolph at the Miss World 2019 event a Excel Arena, London.

Just as Miss World 2019 contestants joined the stage, the audience cheered for them at the Excel Arena, London. The top five contestants participated in the final question-and-answer round.
Some of the contestants who competed for the title are Daniella Lundqvist from Sweden, Lucy Brock from New Zealand, Milena Sadowska from Poland, Bhasha Mukherjee from England, Naomi Colford from Canada, Malika Sera from Japan and Emmy Cuvelier from the US.
The audiences came in large numbers to root for the contestants and cheered for their countries with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm.
