Indian Premier League franchise Kolkata Knight Riders' director Joy Bhattacharya said Deccan Chargers' skipper Adam Gilchrist's fears on match-fixing in IPL were unfounded.
"I can never believe anything like this is happening in the IPL. I don't know what Gilchrist is saying. I'm only concerned about my team, KKR, and it's (talk of fixing) absolutely false."
Biswarup Dey, Jt sec of Cricket Association of Bengal gave the IPL matches played at Eden Gardens a clean chit.
"We have not heard anything of this sort. As a host venue (for KKR), we didn't see anything," Dey said. KKR player, Laxmi Ratan Shukla said: "We hear such talks floating around, but we have never discussed these things in our dressing room.
And how can you forget that our captain is Sourav Ganguly, whose priorities are very clear?"
