A curt "no" was the big fast bowler's response, suggesting there will again be plenty of niggle when Australia face the Indians at Mohali from Friday.
Bollinger gave the impression he had used the Twenty20 Champions League in South Africa as an advanced scouting mission.
"Playing with the Indians I got a couple of tips and bits and pieces (about the SG ball), which is good so I should be right to go," Bollinger said.
"I've had one in my bag the whole trip so hopefully it works for me," he said.
There was evidence, too, that Bollinger had probed for some technical weaknesses in Indian skipper MS Dhoni, plus the batsmen Suresh Raina and Murali Vijay, in the nets.
"A couple (of weak spots) hopefully, we'll have to wait and see, but it's good to play with them and know their strengths and weaknesses," said Bollinger.
"I've just got to make sure I do it out on the field."
