England boss Fabio Capello is considering the option to give back the captain's arm band to the Chelsea skipper once again for the Euro 2012 qualifier in Wales on March 26.

Terry was stripped of the captaincy over his alleged affair with Wayne Bridge's ex-girlfriend before the World Cup.

Capello vowed that Terry would not captain England again while he was manager. But the Italian has apparently had a change of heart, The Sun reports.

With current skipper Rio Ferdinand likely to miss out through injury and deputy Steven Gerrard definitely sidelined after a groin operation, the options are limited.

Frank Lampard took the England armband in the last game, the 2-1 friendly victory in Denmark.
