An estimated 100 people were injured when a metal platform collapsed at a football stadium during a youth match in Lima yesterday, rescue workers said.
The accident occurred during a match at the big Estadio Monumental operated by the Club Universitario de Deportes. The people were attending a Copa Crema youth cup game.
