Dr Margaret Bailey, the principal of the school where Gayle studied in, said: "Chris invited students and teachers from our school to celebrate with him. Different groups of students including members of our cricket team will go on different days."

Lady coach
The West Indies star had credited female primary school teacher for his batting prowess. "I guess most people won't know this, but my first ever school cricket coach was a lady (Mrs June Hamilton).

See, you never know the strength of a woman; they are very powerful and I'm here today to give thanks", Gayle said last September. Bailey added: "Chris has launched the Chris Gayle Academy as part of the celebration and our students are beneficiaries as they are taught important values and attitude through cricket to take them through life."
