Australia cricketer David Warner's wife Candice disappointed after being thrown out from cooking reality show for serving raw chicken

Candice Warner, a former Iron Woman and wife of Australia opening batsman David said she was thoroughly disappointed at becoming the first celebrity to be sent home from Australian reality TV show Hell’s Kitchen after she served raw chicken.

Candice, 32, was evicted after serving judge Marco Pierre White raw chicken during a cook-off battle with fellow contestants.

Candice was presented with a plate of mystery skewers and was given 20 minutes to guess the ingredients and cook the dish to avoid elimination. She not only used the wrong spices, but also left the chicken half-cooked. When asked to explain why she should stay on the show, Candice said she wanted to feed her daughters Ivy Mae, three, and Indy Rae, one, well.

"I feel every time I feed them dinner at night, I let them down," said a teary-eyed Candice. "To think that you are a failure as a mother is really hard to cope," she added.

However, her tears couldn’t save her from eviction even as chef Marco empathised with her. "Thirty more seconds in the pan and maybe you would have stayed," Marco said.
