Rajasthan bowled Hyderabad out for mere 21 runs in the first day of the ongoing Ranji Trophy game-taking place at Jaipur today.

Deepak Chahar, Rajasthan's debutant medium pace bowler claimed eight wickets in an innings to completeley demolish Hyderabad's batting line up.


Eighteen-year-old Chahar bagged eight wickets after giving away only 10 runs in his 7.3 overs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium.



None of the Hyderabadi batsmen managed to cross the double-digit figure, falling pray to the pacer.

Pacer Pankaj Singh also bowled a steady line claiming took two wickets to his kitty.

The entire Hyderabad innings lasted for 15.3 overs. Rajasthan's disciplined bowling did not give away any extras.

This was the lowest team total in the history of India's first class cricket.

In reply, Rajasthan were 45 for one in their first innings with A Chopra (15) and H Kanitkar (20) batting at the middle.
