Delhi skipper James Hopes had won the toss and elected to bat in their last IPL clash. Daredevils had made 56 for three in 10.1 overs when the rain stopped play. Colin Ingram (13) and Venugopal Rao (0) were at the crease.
David Warner gave some exciting moments to the Delhi fans with a pulled six off Alfonso Thomas and a six over long-on off IPL debutant James Faulkner. However, it was Pune who controlled the majority of the game.
