These are the stars to look out for in today's Champions Trophy semi-final tie
1Shikhar Dhawan
The opener has been in the form of his life, scoring back-to-back centuries against South Africa and West Indies. He fell just two runs short of 50 against Pakistan in the third game and one hopes the law of averages won’t catch up with him this evening!
2 Rohit Sharma
Rohit has grabbed his chance at the top of the order with both hands and the results have been impressive. He has struck a couple of half centuries already and another good knock will only add to his growing reputation.

3 Ravindra Jadeja
The ‘Sir Jadeja’ jokes are a thing of the past now and everyone has been taking the all-rounder seriously. He has excelled with the ball, taking nine wickets in three games, and will play a key role if India are to beat Sri Lanka.
4 MS Dhoni
The captain has not spent much time in the middle, thanks to the tremendous form of the top-order, but lest a crisis beckons, there’s no man better than Dhoni to take charge of proceedings.
5 Bhuvneshwar Kumar
Kumar has handled all the pressures that accompany a successful debut commendably and has been finding the right spots in the three games that he has featured in thus far. He will be expected to provide the crucial break-throughs once again.
5 Lankans to watch out for
1 Kumar Sangakkara
He has been the man in form for Sri Lanka. Though he failed in the last league match against Australia, Sangakkara came good in the opening two encounters with a 68 against New Zealand and an unbeaten 134 against England.
2 Mahela Jayawardene
The former skipper couldn’t start the tournament on a bright note, but looked dangerous in the do-or-die encounter against Australia. His 81-ball 84 took Lanka to a position of safety.
3 Nuvan Kulasekara
Kulasekara rattled the Australian top order and sealed their faith in the key contest with a haul of 3-42. He has so far bagged five wickets in three matches.
4 Rangana Herath
The leg-spinner has been very economical at 4.33 in the tournament and has taken four wickets in three matches.u00a0
5 Tillakaratne Dilshan
