Fans coming to the Wankhede Stadium for Mumbai Indians' home games need to be watchful of people selling flags and bandannas outside the ground.

While it is a good deal to buy the Mumbai Indians horn and jersey, you need not spend money on Mumbai Indians flags and bandannas because they are available free of cost inside the ground, freely distributed. By the way, they cost Rs 50 and Rs 30 respectively. A happy seller outside the ground told MiD DAY that he makes anything between Rs 200 to 500 selling bandannas and flags.

Oh, Franklin!
ONE felt sorry for James Franklin when he was dismissed for one considering the Mumbai Indians southpaw came in three-an-a-half hours before their Indian Premier League clash against Royal Challengers Bangalore yesterday. The New Zealander was looking in good touch during the marathon practice session he had before the match. He was middling the ball well and confidently played his shots all around the ground. Franklin, however, failed to apply enough power, trying to cut R Vinay Kumar’s short ball over third man, which landed comfortably into Zaheer Khan’s hands.

Kumble, still a fighter
ANIL Kumble may have retired from international cricket in 2008, but the competitive edge of the legendary leg-spinner still burns. The chief mentor of the Bangalore team doesn’t like being hit into the stands even while bowling in the nets. This was quite evident during the practice session on the eve of the Mumbai Indians match at the Wankhede Stadium when AB de Villiers and a few others smashed Kumble over the ropes on a few occasions.u00a0However, one batsman succumbed to Kumble's guile after he got one to sneak through. And the master leggie celebrated wholeheartedly.
