The inventor of Hot Spot technology has lost patience with cricket's rulers International Cricket Council, according to a report in the Sydney Morning Herald.

Warren Brennan, the owner of BBG Sports is fed up with the ICC and national cricket boards who don't want to pay to use the expensive technology which has gained popular acceptance in terms of its utility in the Decision Review System.

"I've already told them that we won't be supplying Hot Spot to the World Cup next year, even for the semis or finals," Brennan told the Sydney Morning Herald.

He had some hard talk aimed at the BCCI too. ''You've got the BCCI in India, who just refuse to be told what to do by anybody. They believe they can do whatever they want. It's a farce," he said. "I'm not going to put up half a million bucks to buy a kit for India when there's so many pitfalls in trying to get those people to pay anything towards it. I don't like playing this game, but these last 12 months have been a real distraction trying to deal with these people," he added.
