>> Off-spinner Ramesh Powar is given the new ball and he beats Lumb off the second ball. But the opener gets back with the next ball, taking the flighted delivery on the full and sweeping it for a boundary.
>> Sreesanth continues and hasn't learnt from his previous over as he drops it short again. Lumb's short-arm jab races away to the square leg fence.
>> Juan Theron is at the receiving end in the fourth over as Lumb gets under the ball and smashes it over long on for a six. Theron goes for 20 in the over with Lumb scoring 19 of them.
>> With spinners bowling from one end right from the start of the innings, Lumb has been opting to use theu00a0 sweep. Against Bipul Sharma, he uses the reverse sweep to good effect and collects a boundary. The next ball is swept for a four too.
>> Piyush Chawla continues his spell andu00a0 Lumb continues sweeping. Takes half a step to reach the ball and sweeps it over the midwicket boundary for his second six of the day.
>> Irfan Pathan is brought into the attack and Lumb plays a great shot off the second ball of the over. He walks down the pitch and drives on the up for a boundary through extra cover.
>> Pathan is in for some more spanking as Lumb walks down again off the next ball and this time, the ball is a half-volley on leg stump which Lumb flicks over short fine leg for a boundary. A dot ball follows the two boundaries and off the fifth ball, Lumb again walks down the wicket and chips the ball over the infield for the third boundary of the over.
