Actor Siddharth Mallya, son of embattled liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya, is far away in Los Angeles, California. But his heart still beats for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

Yesterday, he was sad that he would not be able to watch RCB's opening match of Indian Premier League's 10th edition against Sunrisers Hyderabad due to the time difference. When the match began at 8pm in India yesterday, it would have been 7.30am in LA as Mumbai is 12 hours and 30 minutes ahead.

He tweeted: "Best of luck #RCB for your opening match!!! Sadly won't get to watch it cos of the time diff here in LA!!! @RCBTweets @IPL #IPL2017 #SRHvRCB."
