Today's India vs Sri Lanka tri-series final will be a high intensity affair considering this has been a controversial series, but captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is trying to keep things as simple as possible.
"It's the small things that really matter. If you take care of the small things, the big steps take care of themselves," Dhoni told reporters last evening.
India entered the final thanks to a brilliant ton by Virender Sehwag, an act which was followed up by a splendid bowling performance against New Zealand on Wednesday. Naturally, there will be high expectations from Sehwag, clearly the in-form batsman.
"I don't want to put pressure on Sehwag since he is a free-flowing cricketer. He is a natural aggressive cricketer. So, he should back himself and bat the way he bats.
"As far as form is concerned, I think people come into form and sometimes you go out of form," said Dhoni.
