Now, Irfan Pathan trolled on Facebook for wearing a rakhi!

Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has been bearing the social media brunt in the past for various of his posts and photos. This time it is for Raksha Bandhan

Now, Irfan Pathan trolled on Facebook for wearing a rakhi!

Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan has been bearing the social media brunt in the past for various of his posts and photos. This time it is for Raksha Bandhan.


The Indian all-rounder took to social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to share a photo of him wearing a rakhi around his wrist and also wished all his fans on Raksha Bandhan.



It did not take much time for social media trolls to target Irfan Pathan and the comments began to flow in. They began to thrash the cricketer on Facebook for celebrating the Hindu occasion despite being a Muslim by religion.

 

 

Earlier, Irfan Pathan was trolled online as 'un-Islamic for posting a photo along with his wife, Safa Baig.

Irfan Pathan and Safa Baig were married in February last year. Safa Baig is a Jeddah-based model. The couple also have a son named Imran Khan Pathan.

Prior to that, when Irfan Pathan was blessed with a cute baby boy to which the all-rounder took to Twitter to share the good news; there was one user who had some unwanted advice - telling Irfan to not name his kid Dawood.
