In reply to Warriors' 155-4, KKR were 83-1 after nine overs when rain stopped play. Jacques Kallis (31 off 19) and skipper Gautam Gambhir (33 off 23) were at the crease when the match was called off.
The Group B match between Somerset and South Australian Redbacks was also abandoned due to heavy rain.
