Even New Zealand cricketers have their reservations about the whereabouts clause in World Anti Doping Agency's (WADA) anti-doping methods which the International Cricket Council want players to follow.

"We along with other player associations, including those in most other sports, have concerns with the administration involved with the Registered Testing Pool requirements. It is cumbersome and very difficult," said Heath Mills, the CEO of New Zealand Cricket Players' Association, from Auckland yesterday.

Mills said several player associations would be meeting in September when this issue will be raised. Tim May, the chief executive of Federation of International Cricketers' Association (FICA) will attend too. "WADA representatives will also attend the meeting where we will discuss the whereabouts requirements for those who participate in team sports," Mills said.
