No Mumbai cricketer in India U-19 probables for tri-series

BCCI on Thursday announced a list of 20 probables for its Under-19 team that will play a tri-series against Bangladesh and Afghanistan, but the list didn't include any cricketer currently playing for Mumbai

Mohali: The Indian cricket board (BCCI) on Thursday announced a list of 20 probables for its Under-19 team that will play a tri-series against Bangladesh and Afghanistan from November 20 to 30, but the list didn't include any cricketer currently playing for Mumbai.

Board of Control for Cricket in India's Junior National Selection Committee met earlier in the day to select the probables. The series will be played in Kolkata.


No Mumbai cricketer made the probables. Sarfaraz Khan, though, is there in the mix. Sarfaraz, who turned 18 on October 27, began his cricketing journey from Mumbai when he was just six, but switched to Uttar Pradesh before the start of this first-class season.



List of India U-19 probables: Ricky Bhui, Himanshu Rana, Rishab Pant, Ishan Kishan, Washinton Sunder, Sarfaraz Khan, Amandeep Khare, Virat Singh, Mahipal Lomror, Anmolpreet Singh, Mayank Dagar, Pradeep Pramanik, Shubham Nayak, Zaashan Ansari, Khaleel Ahmed, Kanishk Sheth, Avesh Khan, Rahul Batham, Izhan Sayeed, Shubham Mavi
