Pakistan strike bowler Mohd Aamer pleaded guilty to involvement in spot-before teammates, former Test captain Salman Butt and fast bowler Mohammad Asif were tried, the court heard yesterday.

Aamer pleaded guilty to conspiracy to cheat and accept corrupt payments at a pre-trial hearing on Sept 16.

The 19-year-old's plea could not be reported during the trial of his teammates, who were found guilty of the same charges at London's Southwark Crown Court on Tuesday.
